A good idea for place cards at your reception would be to write the names of the guests in a shell instead of a card ..

Try to arrive at the wedding ritzcarlton.com if you can check the programs that are in the Caribbean, you might get some ideas from there to borrow from.

Get ideas on different approaches. You can make a patterned paper that goes with the tropical theme, decorate the program.
